YOU ASKED, HERE IT IS.
Hey guys, Happy Friday! This week I posted the recipe to the vodka mojito that you all loved, so I’m putting the recipe here. This drink is perfect to pair with weeknight dinners, or for having friends over. It only takes about 25 minutes to make and your guest will love it.
For 2.5 drinks
Limes: 2-3 Large
Mint Leaves: 1 pack
Vodka: 1 cup
Club Soda: 1 cup
Sugar: 1 cup
Water: 1 cup
STEP 1: MAKING THE MINT SYRUP.
Combine one cup of sugar, one cup of water, and half of your mint leaves in a saucepan. Set the stovetop to medium heat, and let the combination come to a boil. Once it boils, reduce the heat + let it simmer for about five minutes. Causally stir the ingredients until the sugar has dissolved. Let the syrup cool for 20 minutes.
STEP 2: COMBINING ALL THE GOOD.
While your mint syrup is cooling, roll your limes to make the squeezing process easier. Once you’re done, grab a bowl and starting combining ALL your ingredients in the bowl. Make sure you really squeeze the lime juice good so the mint + lime ratio is good. After you comine everything, stir it and grab a glass!
STEP 3: GRAB A GLASS + MAKE IT LOOK GOOD.
I’m all about an aesthetic, so in this step I’d pull out your nicest glass + coasters. You’re going to need a good photo for the gram! Drop a couple of pieces of ice, and pour your beverage over the top. Garnish with mint leaves and a few lime slices and give it a good stir. Now it’s time to drink up. Cheers!
