The Fun Stuff.
So, Ford headed to Memphis this past weekend to once again partner with ESSENCE for My City, Four Ways to wrap up the year after executing events in Washington D.C. and Atlanta earlier this year. I must admit, it was an AMAZING time. The event featured food, art, music, and style in the Bluff City, which many came out to enjoy.
How The Weekend Kicked Off.
,Comedienne Loni Love drove attention to her being in the 901 for the event via Instagram, with hilarious posts including herself, Sherri Shepherd , and a very funny UBER driver. While this happened, musician turned chef Kelis, shared she was in the Bluff City for the event and had Memphians help her tame her inner foodie with restaurant suggestions. This created a ton of local buzz as to what was happening in Memphis.
On Friday night, FORD kicked off the big event with a small, and intimate dinner at the Majestic Grille with special guest and local bloggers and influencers including Andrea Fenise, iHeart radio host Stormy Taylor, and founder of Girls Auto Clinic Patrice Banks. The dinner was an amazing start to a fun-filled weekend!

The Big Event
The event kicked off at noon at the Prop Cellar, located in Memphis, TN. As guest arrived, they were offered the opportunity to test drive Ford vehicles (which I am a proud owner of one), learn about local artists and musicians, and just celebrate culture in the Mid-South.
Founder of Girls Auto Clinic, Patrice Banks, gives car tips with Loni Love and demonstrates on 2018 Ford Mustang. While Singer Kelis talks about her journey into becoming a chef at ESSENCE My City, 4 Ways Presented by Ford.
Celebrity stylist and creative director, June Ambrose (right) joined ESSENCE editor Charreah Jackson for an on-stage interview.
The event was such a fun experience, and it'll be one I won't forget. Be sure to stay tuned for more posts and fun stuff by following Essence and Ford on Instagram!
